Request for Financial Support
As stated in our By-laws, Friends of CRTS provides financial support to ordained and licensed ministers who teach at a Chinese Reformed Theological Seminary.  The minister must be a member of a presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of America or of a Reformed Church which is in good standing with the Presbyterian Church of America. If you meet these criteria, you may use this form to request (1) Salary/Benefits support, (2) K-12 Scholarships or (3) Business expenses support from Friends of CRTS.
If granted, Salary/Benefits support is given in 12 monthly installments. Business expense support is only dispersed after the expense is incurred and you submit proper receipts. Please see our Accountable Business expense policy. Approved K-12 child scholarships are only dispersed after you have submitted a copy of the tuition bill. When possible, we pay grants directly to the school in the name of the child. If the grant is not paid directly to the school, we require that the applicant provide us with proper receipts from the school (or in the case of home schooled children, receipts for the teaching material.) We do not obtain grade transcripts from recipients; however, we do require that the parents of the recipient certify that the recipient is in good standing at the end of academic period. If the terms of a scholarship award are violated, the Board of Directors determines the portion of the scholarship which the applicant must repay. No further support of any kind is provided to the applicant until this amount is repaid.
